This is Texan Holly Bea's seventh book, and this one is a winner. Lucy, a
Canada goose, is an independent thinker – she likes doing the opposite of what
was expected. When it's time to migrate, she wants to fly on her own and beat
the rest to Texas. As she braves obstacles trying to reach her destination,
she understands the value of patience and teamwork.
FUN FACT: When Ms. Bea lived away from Texas, she would
return to Lubbock every year to watch the Canada geese migration in Maxey
Park.
